DISCOVER THE UNIQUE WORKS OF TOMMY PAONE
Born on March 17, 1976, in Catanzaro, Southern Italy, Tommaso Paone, known as Tommy Paone, is a versatile artist whose creativity spans painting, sculpture, installations, comics, graphic design, illustration, writing, and music production.
After graduating from art school in 1996, he obtained a second diploma the following year as an illustrator, graphic designer, and cartoonist at the Centro Studi Bruttium in Catanzaro. That same year, he began attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro, but driven by curiosity and the desire for new artistic experiences, he moved to Florence in September 1998. There he continued his studies and started exhibiting his works, also working as an exhibition curator alongside director Walter Bellini at Ken’s Art Gallery.
The following years were crucial for his artistic growth, with exhibitions in Italy and abroad, as well as collaborations with other artists that allowed him to refine his techniques.
In 2005, he moved to London, a city that opened new cultural and artistic horizons. Today, his works can be found in private collections worldwide, including New York, Miami, Washington, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Vancouver, Tokyo, Moscow, London, Paris, Basel, Zurich, Malmö, Bucharest, Catanzaro, Milan, Rome, Madrid, Ibiza, and Barcelona.
A passionate collector himself, he constantly seeks artworks capable of transmitting energy and vitality.
Since a young age, Paone has written poems and texts, later used in his comics. In 2019, he published some of his poems in the anthology Le tue parole, a collection of contemporary poets published by Pagine.
In 2020, he launched the Chromo Space For Art project, which has recently evolved, together with Simone Del Papa, into a virtual artistic space aimed at promoting emerging artists, exhibiting and selling his works, and offering a dedicated merchandising area.
Alongside his artistic career, he is also an international Tech-House DJ and producer, co-founder of the duo Neverdogs (2000), and of the record label Bamboleo Records, organizing several Bamboleo showcases around the world with his DJ partner Marco De Gregorio and manager Andrea Giungato.
He currently lives and works in Lisbon, continuing to explore new forms of artistic and musical expression.
